About this kids pack

Sort Squad Classification is a two-page category-logic PDF for ages 5–9. Page 1, “Two-Bin Sort: Living or Not?,” lists eight items (frog, rock, tree, spoon, bee, bicycle, mushroom, pencil). Kids write each into Living or Non-living, then invent one more item for each bin. An answer line groups the expected sorts. Page 2, “Venn Challenge: Wheels vs Wings,” asks kids to place airplane, bicycle, bird, car, helicopter, fish, skateboard, and bee into Wheels only, Wings only, Both, or Neither, using labeled circles. Answer guidance lists typical placements (for example, airplane and helicopter in Both; fish in Neither). The sheets build scientific classification and flexible thinking without becoming reading-comprehension drills. Print letter size and work with pencil; cut-outs are optional if you prefer hands-on sorting. Exactly two activities: a two-bin sort and one Venn challenge. Ask kids to justify one tricky placement out loud—mushroom and bee often spark useful debate about what “living” means.

Designed for families and classrooms. Checkout runs through Paddle. After payment, you can download the print-ready PDF pack (2 letter-size pages) from the success page.
