About this kids pack
Pattern Pulse is a two-page visual sequence pack for ages 5–9. Page 1 (“Pulse Patterns”) asks kids to draw the missing shape in four rows labeled A–D. Patterns mix alternating shapes, size growth (small–medium–large), and filled versus empty circles. Instructions tell solvers to watch size, fill, and order. Answers are listed so caregivers can check quickly. Page 2 continues with four more sequences (E–H), including a repeating triangle–square–circle cycle, shrinking circles, and filled-circle alternation. At the bottom, an invent box invites the child to create one new pattern of their own. The work builds visual working memory and the habit of naming a rule before guessing. Sheets stay readable in black and white on a home printer. Print both pages, finish page 1 as a warm-up, then use page 2 for a slightly longer stretch. Designed for morning warm-ups, quiet time, or a short STEM station—pencil and paper only. You receive eight sequence problems plus one invent prompt across these two pages.
Designed for families and classrooms. Checkout runs through Paddle. After payment, you can download the print-ready PDF pack (2 letter-size pages) from the success page.
