About this kids pack
PicSudoku Starter Grid is a two-page icon logic pack for ages 5–9. Both pages are 4×4 grids—not larger boards. Page 1, “PicSudoku 4×4 – Warm Up,” uses icons Rocket (R), Gear (G), Star (S), and Bulb (B). Kids place each symbol once in every row, column, and 2×2 block, starting from given clues. A full solution grid is provided for checking. Page 2, “PicSudoku 4×4 – Challenge,” uses the same rules and legend with fewer starter clues and a second complete solution. The format teaches classic Sudoku logic without number anxiety: systematic placement, elimination, and checking blocks. Print letter size, use pencil so erasing is easy, and finish the warm-up before the challenge. Suitable for car trips, early-finisher bins, or a short weekend stretch. What you get is exactly these two 4×4 puzzles with legends and solutions—no extra grid sizes beyond 4×4. Caregivers can point to the legend while a child names each icon aloud if reading symbols is still new.
