Odd Spark Logic is a two-page odd-one-out PDF for ages 5–10. Page 1, “Find the Misfit – Set A,” has four groups (animals vs car; light sources vs moon; flat shapes vs cube; fruits vs carrot). Kids circle the odd item and write the rule; fair alternate rules are allowed if explained. Page 2, “Find the Misfit – Set B,” adds tools vs spoon, weather vs book, transport vs chair, and even numbers vs nine. Instructions encourage comparing answers with a friend and debating rules. Sample rules appear for caregiver reference. The sheets train flexible reasoning and justification—not a single “gotcha” answer key that ignores other valid explanations. Print both pages for a warm-up or a short assessment snapshot of thinking. Eight sets total; mixed themes of tools, animals, weather, shapes, and numbers—exactly what is on these two pages. If two children disagree, ask each to defend a rule before peeking at the sample.
